Food and Agriculture Update 2010

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al-Khanbashi, Vice-Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University; the Faculty of Food and Agriculture, Research Affairs will to organize a Food and Agriculture update, April 2010 in collaboration with Arab Beverage Association (ABA). The update main aim to have an interlink between manufacturers, consumers, export/import firms in various field of beverage industry and everything based on a scientific outlook. It will cover areas like packaging, machinery, equipment, and ingredients of beverage industry such as Dairy, Juice, Nectar and Soft Drinks, Carbonated Drinks, Bottled Water, and Hot Beverages.

Our thrust areas of the proposed Food and Agricultural update 2010 will be as follows:

    1. Future prospects of beverage industry of Middle East.

    2. Legislation and law regarding beverages.

    3. Developing and improving healthier beverage commercially.

    4. Recent technological advancement in food beverage industry.

    5. Impact of consumer demands and trends on food beverage industry.
