Professor Ahmed Hussein, Faculty of Food & Agriculture Consults King Saud University - College of Food and Agricultural Sciences on Accreditation

The College of Food and Agricultural Sciences - King Saud University (CFAS-KSU) requested information from the Faculty of Food and Agriculture - UAEU regarding their recent experiences in the accreditation process with the Agricultural Institute of Canada (AIC).   CFAS-KSU faculty also wanted to fully understand the process and expected outcomes. Per their request, Professor Ahmed Hussein consulted all CFAS-KSU departmental faculty and support staff from December 20 to 22, 2009. He gave numerous workshops on the accreditation process and on writing the self-study report, as well as visiting and giving feedback on all of the College’s teaching laboratories.  In addition, Professor Hussein met with the CFAS-KSU Dean, Associate Deans and College Council to report on the College’s status and further discussion on the accreditation process.
